Carmine Marinaro has
more than two decades of experience in building high revenue-producing
sales teams. He founded Corporate Information Systems (CIS) in 1987 to
address the recruiting needs of venture capital-backed startups, pre-IPO
businesses, and Fortune 500 corporations – specializing in the high-tech
industry. Since then, Marinaro has expanded his firm’s expertise to
serve companies in the life sciences arena and other growth-oriented
sectors. His extensive roster of long-term clients includes such notable
organizations as Information Builders Inc., BEA and SAP.
Marinaro’s exceptional achievements are reflected in his extensive
network of employers and talented sales professionals. He has set an
industry benchmark for speed-to-hire by translating these relationships
and his deep industry knowledge into successful employer/employee
matches.
During the past 20 years, Marinaro has grown CIS into one of New
Jersey’s largest contingency recruiting firms serving clients
nationwide. The firm’s revenue has topped $2 million annually since
1994.
Throughout this evolution, Marinaro has maintained a true
entrepreneurial approach to doing business, incorporating stringent
operational systems development practices and a strong commitment to
service and professionalism. He is an advocate of personal advancement
and employee professional development. As such, he has placed training
and continuing education at the core of the CIS corporate culture. New
hires, regardless of past experience, participate in an intensive
in-house training period. All employees are kept abreast of the latest
industry developments.
As the recruiting industry, technology and corporate sales requirements
change, Marinaro continues to seek new avenues for enhancing his
industry niche. Most recently, this includes launching SalesAnimals LLC
(www.salesanimals.com). The venture currently incorporates technology
and executive recruiting, “touch and tech” as Marinaro has coined it, as
the foundation of what will become a full portal for the sales
community. Marinaro’s vision for SalesAnimals involves access to
top sales talent for employers; as well as online training, products and
services for sales professionals.
Marinaro earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Farleigh
Dickinson University. Since 1994, he has been an active member of the
World Entrepreneurs Organization and served as President for two years
of the New Jersey Chapter of the Young Entrepreneurs Organization. He
has been cited as an expert source in The New Jersey, Star-Ledger and
the Edward Lowe Report, and earned the distinction of being named among
the “40 Under 40” in both NJBIZ and New Jersey Monthly magazine. |
