How do you get your candidates?

What is your response time?
Our operating system mandates that CIS account executives respond to client company requests within 3 working days unless other specific arrangements have been made during the initial contact.

Do you know enough about my company?
Prior to accepting a search assignment, our research staff compiles computerized account profiles on all potential accounts. This includes company financial and product information. Also, research of recent articles from well respected industry periodicals as well as a complete history review of prior business with your organization is pursued. From a sales point of view, all account executives are trained in relationship selling techniques designed to uncover benefits of your firm and how they would impact potential candidates. It is our mission to “partner” with your company while acting as an extension of your sales force. This enables us to locate the finest talent for your company.

Do you know enough about the hi-tech sales industry?
Training is an ongoing process at CIS. Initially all account executives are required to attend an extensive formal training program. The hi-tech module consists of hardware, software, data communications, telecommunications, and services with a special emphasis on “Who’s Who” in the industry. This includes product information, market share, and reputation in the marketplace. Industry guest speakers are included in this process whose backgrounds cover both sales and technical expertise. On an ongoing basis, our research department is required to compile the most recent account information available, and provide this to our account executive team. Although no one knows all there is to know about an ever-changing technology-driven market, it is our mission to provide the very best account executive training in the industry.

How can I be sure you will send me qualified candidates?
Ensuring quality candidates is directly proportional to the relationship we foster with our clients. We perform a formal needs analysis with decision-makers within your firm, uncovering the subtle issues that make the difference. This allows us to hone in on the top talent most suited to your organization and its “culture”. Our operational systems coupled with almost two decades of industry focus, yields the results and the longevity on which our client relationships are founded.

Will there be any follow-up after the candidates are presented to me?
In order to understand our follow-up procedures, you need to accept our corporate philosophy. When we hire an account executive, they are trained in consultative selling, not just recruiting. Our systems dictate a relationship building approach both with our candidates as well as our clients. When presenting the backgrounds of potential candidates, our account executives are trained to sell to the needs of both parties in order to ensure the placement is consummated. We cover everything from “buyer’s remorse” to counteroffer scenarios with our recruits and make it a rule to report all findings accurately to our clients in an expeditious manner. Specifically, our customers report that our follow through is our finest asset. This is truly remarkable in an industry known for this weakness. Our offer to acceptance percentage exceeds 90%, which is virtually unheard of in our industry.

Who will work with me on my search?
Unlike generalists, CIS prides itself on assigning key accounts to its account executives. All of our recruiters handle specific territories.
